MP3 cutter & audio trimmer
Trim a clip from an audio file without uploading it anywhere. Set the start and end points and FileTinker cuts it in your browser, then exports an MP3 — your audio never leaves your device.
MP3 cutter — FAQ
How do I cut an audio file?
Add your audio, drag the start and end sliders to the section you want, then press Cut. FileTinker trims it in your browser and exports an MP3 to download.
Which audio formats can I cut?
Any format your browser can decode, such as MP3, WAV, M4A and OGG. The result is always exported as MP3.
Is my audio uploaded?
No. Decoding, trimming and encoding all happen in your browser — your file never leaves your device.
Will cutting reduce the audio quality?
The trim itself is lossless, but the MP3 export re-encodes at 128 kbps — a good balance of quality and size for most uses.
