Unlike most online file tools, FileTinker runs entirely in your web browser. When you open a tool and add a file, the work happens on your own device using modern browser technology — the file is never uploaded to a server and nothing is stored online.

That means your documents, photos and recordings stay private, which matters for sensitive files like ID scans, contracts and personal media. Most tools even keep working offline once the page has loaded.
